Porthcawl Powerboat and Ski Club
The Club is based in a clubhouse in Bay View Road, Newton which is within easy reach of the seafront a Newton Bay and Trecco Bay Caravan Park. Newton Bay is a natural bay which remains quite sheltered through the summer months which gives rise to excellent sea based water sports. The club formed mainly for sea based water sports such as water-skiing and powerboat racing now boasts a large number of sea angling members and Jet Ski owners.
The club has its own fleet of tractors which are available for any member to use to launch their craft into the water, these are the only vehicles permitted to drive to the beach at Newton.
